देह से भिन्न आत्मा को पर पदार्थ का कर्ता, भोक्ता, एकत्व, ममत्व मानना एवं माता-पिता, देश, मकान, स्त्री-पुत्रादि, पञ्चपरमेष्ठी- ये सब उपचरित असदभूत व्यवहारनय से मेरे हैं।

To regard the soul, which is distinct from the body, as the doer and enjoyer of external objects, and as one with them or possessing them, and to call mother, father, country, house, wife, children, and the Five Supreme Beings 'mine'—all this is by the figurative, non-existent conventional standpoint.
