उपचरित असद्भूत व्यवहार नय से एक निगोदया जीव की दो सौ पचास आवलि प्रमाण आयु होती है, पौन सेकेण्ड में चार हजार चार सौ सैतालिस आवलियाँ होती हैं, पौन सेकेन्ड का एक श्वाँस होता है, उसमें निगोदिया जीव अट्ठारह बार जन्म और मरण करता है, स्वस्थ पुरूष की एक मिनिट में अठत्तर बार श्वाँस चलती है।

By the figurative, non-real practical standpoint a nigodiya (lowest microbial) being has a lifespan of two hundred and fifty avalis; in three-quarters of a second there are four thousand four hundred and forty-seven avalis, and three-quarters of a second is one breath, in which a nigodiya being is born and dies eighteen times; a healthy man breathes seventy-eight times in a minute.
