दिग्देशेभ्यः खगा एत्य, संवसन्ति नगे नगे। स्व स्व कार्य वशाद्यान्ति, देशे दिक्षु प्रगे प्रगे।।

पक्षी नाना देशों और दिशाओं से आकर वृक्षों पर रैन बसेरा करते हैं और प्रातः काल अपने-अपने कार्य के वश नाना देशों और दिशाओं में चले जाते हैं, वैसे ही परिवार के लोग अनेक गतियों से आकर के एक घर में रहते हैं और अपने-अपने कर्मों के अनुसार नाना गतियों में चले जाते हैं।

Birds come from many lands and directions to roost on the trees at night, and at dawn go off to various lands and directions about their own tasks; likewise the members of a family come together in one home from various states of existence and depart to various states according to their own karmas.
