अकिञ्चन जगत का स्वामी कैसे हो सकता है? अतः कहते हैं कि सन्त पुरुषों का चरित्र अलौकिक होता है, हे भव्य! आकिञ्चन्य रूप सुसिद्ध मन्त्र का निरन्तर अभ्यास कर, जो मन्त्र गुरु के उपदेश के अनन्तर तत्काल अपना काम करता है उस मन्त्र को सुसिद्ध मन्त्र कहते हैं, जो काल पाकर सिद्ध होता है वह सिद्धमन्त्र है, जो जप-होम आदि से साधा जाता है वह साध्यमन्त्र है और जो तत्क्षण ही शत्रु को मूल से नष्ट कर देता है वह सुसिद्ध मन्त्र है, ऐसा ही आकिञ्चन्य रूपी सुसिद्ध मन्त्र मोह को तत्काल नष्ट करने वाला है, चारित्र की रक्षा और मोक्ष की प्राप्ति के लिए अन्तरङ्ग चौदह प्रकार के और बाह्य दस प्रकार के परिग्रहों को छोड़ना चाहिए।

How can one without possessions be lord of the world? Thus it is said that the conduct of saintly persons is transcendent. O noble soul, ever practise the well-accomplished mantra of non-possession. A mantra that acts at once upon the guru's teaching is called a susiddha mantra; one accomplished in time is a siddha mantra; one attained by chanting and oblations is a sadhya mantra; and one that instantly destroys the enemy to the root is a susiddha mantra. Such is the susiddha mantra of non-possession, which instantly destroys delusion; to guard conduct and attain liberation one should renounce the fourteen kinds of inner and ten kinds of outer possessions.
