यो न वेत्ति परं देहा, देवमात्मानमव्ययं। लभते स न निर्वाणं, तप्त्वापि परमं तपः॥

One who does not know the imperishable, divine soul distinct from the body attains no liberation, even though he performs the severest austerity.
