सांसारिक सुख तीन प्रकार का है पहला विषय सुख शहद लपेटी तलवार के सामान, दूसरा देवों का दिव्य सुख जलते हुए चन्दन की लकड़ी के सामान, तीसरा चक्रवर्ती का सुख विष मिश्रित अन्न के समान और सिद्धों का सुख आकुलता रहित होता है।

Worldly happiness is of three kinds: sensual pleasure like a honey-smeared sword, the divine joy of gods like burning sandalwood, and an emperor's joy like poison-laced food; but the joy of the Siddhas is free of all agitation.
