असत्य बोलने से मुख सम्बन्धी रोग, गूँगा, तोतला, दुःस्वर, तथा वाणी सम्बन्धी दुर्गुण एवं एकेन्द्रियादि में जन्म होता है।

From speaking falsehood one gets diseases of the mouth, becomes dumb, a stammerer, harsh-voiced, afflicted with defects of speech, and is born among one-sensed beings.
