हिंसक, परधनहर्ता, परस्त्री गामी व्यक्ति यदि करोड़ों तीर्थों में स्नान, करे करोड़ों तीर्थ वन्दना करें, करोड़ों का दान करें, करोड़ों वर्ष तप करे, शास्त्रों का अध्ययन करे तो भी शौच धर्म नहीं हो सकता है।

A violent man, a thief of others' wealth, an adulterer—though he bathe at millions of holy places, worship at millions of shrines, give millions in charity, do austerity for millions of years, and study the scriptures—still cannot attain purity dharma.
