कुत्ता तोता को पालता-पालने वाले को नहीं पालता- आज की औलाद कुत्ते, तोते आदि जानवरों को तो पालती है पर पालने वाले माँ-बाप को नहीं पालती है, एक माँ-बाप कह रहे थे काश हम कुत्ता होते तो बेटे-बहु के हाथ का खाना तो मिलता।

They rear a dog or parrot but not the one who reared them: today's offspring rear animals like dogs and parrots but do not care for the parents who reared them. One set of parents said: had we but been a dog, we would at least have got food from our son and daughter-in-law's hands.
