ये परस्खलितोऽन्निद्राः, स्वदोषेभ निमीलिनः। तपस्विनस्ते किं कुर्युः, रपात्रं त्वन्मतश्रियः।।

जो दूसरों के दोष देखने में जागृत हैं और अपने दोष देखने के लिए हाथी की तरह आँख बन्द किये हुए हैं, वे बेचारे जैन मत के योग्य ही नहीं हैं।

Those who are wide awake to see others' faults but keep their eyes shut like an elephant to their own faults — such wretched ascetics are simply unfit for the Jaina path.
