इह जन्मनि विभवादी, न्यमुत्र चक्रित्वकेशवत्वादीन्। एकान्तवाददूषित, परसमयानपि च नाकाङ्क्षेत्।।

इस लोक में वैभव आदि, परलोक में चक्रवर्ती का वैभव एवं एकान्तवाद से दूषित परमत की इच्छा नहीं करना निःकाङ्क्षित अङ्ग है।

Not craving prosperity and the like in this world, the splendour of a Chakravarti in the next, nor the false doctrines vitiated by one-sidedness (ekanta) — this is the limb of freedom from craving (nihkankshita).
