सद्दहदिय पत्तेदिय, रोचेदिय तह पुणो वि फासेदि। धम्मं भोगणिमित्तं, ण दु सो कम्मखयणिमित्तं।।

अभव्य मिथ्यादृष्टि जीव जिनेन्द्र भगवान के द्वारा कहे गए तत्त्वों की श्रद्धा करता है, प्रतीति करता है, रुचि करता है, स्पर्श भी करता है किन्तु धर्म को भोग का कारण बनाता है कर्मक्षय का कारण नहीं बनाता है।

An unworthy, wrong-believing soul believes, trusts, delights in, and even practices the truths taught by Lord Jinendra, yet makes dharma a means to enjoyment, not a means to the destruction of karma.
