राम को राज्य नहीं मिला तो हर्ष-विषाद नहीं किया, उस समय ज्ञानी थे, जब सीता का हरण हुआ और लक्ष्मण को शक्ति लगी, तो रो रहे थे, तब वे अज्ञानी थे।

When Rama did not receive the kingdom he felt neither joy nor grief — then he was wise; when Sita was abducted and Lakshmana was struck by the shakti-weapon, he wept — then he was ignorant.
