माघनमित्रकलत्राद्याः सर्वे संयोग सम्भवाः। मुक्त्वा रत्नत्रयं पूतमिति निर्वेदमादिशेत्।।

मनोहर मित्र, स्त्री आदि सभी संयोगज सम्बन्ध हैं, एक रत्नत्रय ही पवित्र है, ऐसा मानना निर्वेद कहलाता है।

Charming friends, wife and the rest are all relationships born of association; only the Three Jewels are pure — holding thus is called nirveda (detachment).
