नारियल में पानी- पुण्य की निशानी- जो होनहार है वह नारियल के भीतर पानी के समान होती ही है और जो जाने वाली है वह गज के द्वारा खाये हुये कैथ के दल के समान जाती ही है, अर्थात् जैसे नारियल में पानी अपने आप आ जाता है और हाथी के द्वारा खाये हुये कैथ का दल अपने आप चला जाता है, वैसे ही भाग्य की अनुकूलता होने पर लक्ष्मी विना प्रयत्न के प्राप्त हो जाती है और प्रतिकूलता होने पर अकस्मात् चली जाती है।
