हिंसादि पाँच पाप क्रोधादि चार कषाय, मिथ्याज्ञान, पक्षपात, मात्सर्य, आठ मद, दुरभिनिवेश, तीन अशुभ लेश्याएँ, चार विकथा, चार आर्तध्यान, चार रौद्रध्यान, ईर्ष्या, असंयम और तीन शल्यों में जो प्रवृत्ति है वह अशुभ भाव है।

Engagement in the five sins beginning with violence, the four passions beginning with anger, false knowledge, partiality, jealousy, the eight prides, obstinacy, the three inauspicious leshyas, the four idle talks, four sorrowful and four cruel meditations, envy, non-restraint and the three thorns — such engagement is inauspicious disposition.
