पहले बाल परीक्षा फिर वैसी शिक्षा- पूर्व में बच्चे पाँच वर्ष के हो जाते थे, तव उनके सामने तलवार, माला, तराजू, आदि रख देते थे, उससे कहते उठाओ तुम्हें क्या पसन्द है, यदि तलवार उठाई तो सैनिक बनेगा, माला उठाई तो माला जपेगा, तराजू उठाई तो व्यापारी बनेगा, वैसी ही शिक्षा उसको देते थे।
