मछली मांस को ही देखती है, उसके नीचे छिपे काँटे को नहीं, वैसे ही यह जगत विषयों के बाह्य आकर्षण को ही देखता है, उससे होने वाले दुःख को नहीं देखता है।

The fish sees only the flesh, not the hook hidden beneath it; likewise the world sees only the outer allure of sense-objects, not the suffering they bring.
