पर के सम्बन्ध से होने वाली चिन्ता शुभ-अशुभ रूप क्यों न हो, निश्चय से बन्ध कराती है, अतः मुझ मुमुक्षु को पर की चिन्ता से क्या प्रयोजन है? मैं सदा एक हूँ अतः मुझे पर से क्या प्रयोजन है?

Worry arising from connection with the other, whether auspicious or inauspicious, certainly causes bondage; so what concern have I, a seeker of liberation, with worry over others? I am ever one alone, so what concern have I with the other?
