वपुर्गृहं धनं दाराः पुत्राः मित्राणि शत्रवः। सर्वेथान्यस्वभावानि, मूढः स्वानि प्रपद्यते।।

शरीर, घर, धन, स्त्री, पुत्र, मित्र, शत्रु ये सभी भिन्न स्वभाव वाले हैं फिर भी अज्ञानी इन्हें अपना मानता है।

Body, house, wealth, wife, son, friends and foes — all of these are of a nature separate from the self, yet the ignorant regard them as their own.
