मोहल्ले वाले बहकाते हैं पर पुरुषार्थ से लड़की की शादी होकर रहती है, उसी प्रकार आत्महित में विघ्न आते हैं लेकिन पुरुषार्थ से कार्य सिद्धि होकर रहती है, अत: दूसरे से राग-द्वेष नहीं करना चाहिए।

Neighbours may mislead, yet through effort a daughter's marriage still takes place; likewise obstacles arise in the soul's welfare, yet through effort the task is still accomplished — therefore one should not harbour attachment or aversion toward others.
