गणेश प्रसाद वर्णीजी ने धर्म माता चिरोंजाबाई जी से कहा! हम शास्त्रपढ़ने नहीं जायेंगे, कुछ लोग आते हैं सोते रहते हैं, बाई जी ने कहा सारा कुँआ छानलोगे तो जिवानी कहाँ डालोगे? सभी लोग मोक्ष जानेवाले नहीं हैं, एक का भी कल्याण होता है, तो अच्छा है।

Ganesh Prasad Varniji told his spiritual mother Chironjabai, 'I will not go to teach the scriptures — some people just come and sleep.' She replied, 'If you strain the whole well, where will you put the life-water back? Not everyone is destined for liberation; if even one soul is benefited, that is good.'
