सौ का नोट मैला भी हो, तो सौ में ही चलेगा, पर पाँचसौ का नया नोट हो, लेकिन गर्वनर के हस्ताक्षर न हों, तो पाँच रुपये में भी नहीं चलेगा, पकड़ा जावेगा तो जैल होगी इसी प्रकार अरहन्त की मुहर जिसमें लगी है, वही शास्त्र सत्य है।

A hundred-rupee note, though soiled, still passes for a hundred; but a crisp five-hundred note without the governor's signature will not pass even for five rupees, and if caught with it you go to jail. Likewise, only that scripture is true which bears the seal of the Arhant.
