किसी आम के वृक्ष तले दो व्यक्ति कहीं से आए थे, एक लगा पत्तों को गिनने दूजे ने फल खाए थे। खाने वाला चतुर मात्र गिनने वाला मूरख जानो, इसी तरह ज्ञानी और अनुभवी को पहचानो।।

Two people came and sat beneath a mango tree; one began counting the leaves, the other ate the fruit. Know the one who ate to be wise and the mere counter a fool — thus recognise the truly knowing and experienced.
