यदि जगत् में आलस्य रूपी अनर्थ न होता तो संसार में कौन धनी मनुष्य या विद्वान् न होता? आलस्य के कारण ही यह समुद्र पर्यन्त पृथ्वी नर-पशुओं से भरी हुई है।
