कोई भी क्षेत्र मंगल अमंगल नहीं होता, अतः किसी भी क्षेत्र को दोष मत दो जिस क्षेत्र में किसी को मंगल होता है उसी क्षेत्र में किसी को अमंगल होता है, हस्तिनापुर में पाण्डवों को विजयश्री मिली उन्हें मंगलभूमि रही और कौरवों के लिए अमंगल रही, पुण्यात्मा के लिए प्रत्येक क्षेत्र मंगल है।

No place is inherently auspicious or inauspicious, so blame no place; in the very place where one finds fortune, another finds misfortune. At Hastinapur the Pandavas won victory and it was a land of fortune for them, while it was inauspicious for the Kauravas; for the meritorious soul, every place is auspicious.
