जैसे नदी बांधों से बँध जाती है तो सागर से नहीं मिल पाती है, वैसे ही नर किसी नारी से बंध जाता है तो सिद्धों से नहीं मिल पाता है। संयोग बाँध देता है और बँधा जीव परतंत्र होता है और परतंत्रता ही सबसे बड़ा दुःख है, अतः निर्बन्ध हो, स्वतंत्र हो, समुद्र बनो, सिद्धों से मिलो।

As a river bound by dams cannot reach the ocean, so a man bound to a woman cannot reach the Siddhas. Union binds, and a bound being is dependent, and dependence itself is the greatest sorrow; therefore be unbound, be free, become the ocean, and meet the Siddhas.
