गुरु को विनय, प्रशंसा और सेवा से, प्रभु को भक्ति अथवा ध्यान से, लोभी को धन से, बच्चों को प्रेम से, बड़ों को विनय और सम्मान से, पत्नि को प्रशंसा से, पति को समर्पण से, माँ-बाप को सेवा से वश में किया जाता है।

A teacher is won by humility, praise and service; the Lord by devotion or meditation; a greedy person by wealth; children by love; elders by humility and respect; a wife by praise; a husband by devotion; and parents by service.
