पशुओं का चाम तो मरने पर भी काम आता है, तेरे चाम का क्या होगा? अरे! जब तक आरोग्य है तब तक दीन दुःखियों की सेवा और महापुरुषों की वैय्यावृत्ति कर ले। तेरा शान्ति पथ प्रशस्त होगा। आगामी काल की चिंता सम्यक्त्व का अतिचार है। अतः क्या होगा? यह भय मत करो और न अतिभविष्य के प्रोग्राम बनाओ, वर्तमान परिणमन पर ध्यान दो। त्याग तृप्ति का और पर सम्पर्क असंतोष का कारण है।

An animal's hide serves a purpose even after death; what use will your skin be? While you have health, serve the poor and suffering and attend upon great souls; your path to peace will be paved. Worrying about the future is a flaw in right faith. So do not fear 'what will happen', nor make far-off plans; attend to the present. Renunciation brings contentment, and contact with externals causes discontent.
