सुख भोगने के लिए स्वर्ग है तथा दुःख भोगने के लिए नरक है और सुख-दुःख दोनों से ऊँचे उठकर महान् आनन्द प्राप्त करने के लिए यह मनुष्य लोक है।

Heaven is for enjoying pleasure and hell for suffering pain, but this human world is for rising above both pleasure and pain to attain the great bliss.
