मनुष्य में अगर मनुष्यता नहीं है तो मनुष्य पशु से भी नीचा है क्योंकि पशु तो अपने पूर्वकृत पापकर्मों का फल भोगकर मनुष्यता की तैयारी कर रहा है, पर मनुष्य नये पाप-कर्म करके नरकों की, पशुता की तैयारी कर रहा है।

If there is no humanity in a human, then he is lower even than an animal, for the animal, by suffering the fruits of its past sins, is preparing for humanity, whereas the human, by committing fresh sins, is preparing for hell and beasthood.
