इस दुनिया में परमात्मा सभी को नब्बे रुपये देकर भेजता है किन्तु लोग पूरे सौ करने के चक्कर में नब्बे का सुख नहीं भोग पाते, लेकिन हाँ, जो दस कम है उसका दुःख जरुर भोगते हैं और सौ कभी होते नहीं हैं, किसी के इंक्यानवे, बानवे, तेरानवे हो जाते हैं तो किसी के चौरानवे, पंचानवे, छयानवे हो जाते हैं और किसी-किसी के तो निन्यानवे तक हो जाते हैं किन्तु सौ किसी के भी नहीं हो पाते और वे सब यहीं छोड़कर चले जाते हैं।

God sends everyone into this world with ninety rupees, but in the chase to make a full hundred people cannot enjoy the ninety; yet they surely suffer over the missing ten, and a hundred is never reached — some reach ninety-one, ninety-two, ninety-three, some ninety-four, ninety-five, ninety-six, and a few even ninety-nine, but no one reaches a hundred, and they all leave it here and depart.
