पशुओं के लिए माता दुग्धपान तक ही माता रहती है, अधम व्यक्तियों के लिए विवाह पर्यन्त तथा मध्यम व्यक्तियों को गृह कार्य देखभाल करने तक माता रहती है, उत्तम व्यक्तियों को तो माता जीवनपर्यन्त तीर्थ के समान रहती है।

For animals the mother remains a mother only until weaning; for base people until marriage; for average people until she can manage household chores; but for the noble the mother remains like a place of pilgrimage lifelong.
