प्रमाद से बढ़कर इस संसार में मनुष्यों के लिए दूसरी कोई मृत्यु नहीं। प्रमादी मनुष्य को सारे अर्थ सब ओर से त्याग देते हैं और अनर्थ बिना बुलाये ही उसके पास चले आते हैं और ध्यान रहे आलस का अभाव अमर बनाने वाला है।

For human beings there is no death in this world greater than negligence. All good fortune abandons a negligent man from every side, and misfortunes come to him uninvited; and remember, the absence of laziness is what makes one immortal.
