अन्य क्षेत्र में किया गया पाप पुण्य क्षेत्र में नष्ट हो जायेगा किन्तु पुण्य क्षेत्र में किया हुआ पाप तो वज्र लेप के समान स्थायी हो जायेगा अर्थात् उसका फल भोगना ही पड़ता है।

A sin committed in an ordinary place will be destroyed in a holy place, but a sin committed in a holy place becomes as permanent as indelible cement—that is, its fruit must be borne.
