रागद्वेष मोह का निमित्त, आश्रय, आधार और विषय पर पदार्थ हैं। यदि किसी से कहा जाये कि तुम रागद्वेष मोह करो किन्तु शुद्धात्मा के सिवाय अन्य पदार्थ में मत करो तो वह कर ही कैसे सकता है।

The occasion, support, basis and object of attachment, aversion and delusion are external substances. If someone were told, 'Have attachment, aversion and delusion, but toward nothing except the pure soul,' how could he do it at all?
