जो सुख लेने की इच्छा से किसी के साथ सम्बन्ध नहीं जोड़ता वह जीता है तो आनन्द से जीता है और मरता है तो आनन्द से मरता है परन्तु सुख लेने की इच्छा से सम्बन्ध जोड़ने वाला जीते हुए भी दुःख पाता है और मरते हुए भी दुःख पाता है।

One who forms no relationship with the desire to derive happiness lives in joy and dies in joy; but one who forms relationships with the desire to derive happiness suffers both while living and while dying.
