‘‘जैसा मैं चाहूँ वैसा हो जाये’’ यह इच्छा जब तक रहेगी, तब तक शान्ति नहीं मिल सकती। चाहे साधु बनो, चाहे गृहस्थ बनो, जब तक कामना (कुछ पाने की इच्छा) रहेगी, तब तक शान्ति नहीं मिल सकती।

'Let things happen as I wish' — as long as this desire remains, peace cannot be found. Whether you become an ascetic or a householder, as long as desire (the wish to gain something) remains, peace cannot be found.
