मन में विकार उत्पन्न होने पर तत्क्षण सत्ताईस उच्छ्वास प्रमाण कायोत्सर्ग करना चाहिए प्राणी वध सम्बन्धी, झूठ, चोरी, मैथुन, परिग्रह सम्बन्धी दोष लगने पर एक सौ आठ उच्छ्वास प्रमाण कायोत्सर्ग अर्थात् छत्तीस बार णमोकार पढ़ना चाहिए।
