यह मन्त्रराज ज्ञानावरणादि कर्मसमूह को दूर करने वाला है, भव-भ्रमण का नाशक है, स्वर्ग और निर्वाणपुरी को प्राप्त कराने वाला है, भव्य जीवों के विघ्नों का निवारक है, मोहरूप सघन अन्धे गड्ढे में पतित जीवों को हस्तावलम्बन देने वाला है, प्राणिमात्र को जीवन दान देने वाला है, ऐसा यह मन्त्र समस्त त्रस व स्थावर जीवों की रक्षा करे।

This king of mantras removes the mass of karmas such as knowledge-obscuring karma, destroys wandering through rebirths, grants heaven and the city of liberation, dispels the obstacles of worthy beings, extends a hand to souls fallen into the deep dark pit of delusion, and gives the gift of life to all creatures—may such a mantra protect all mobile and immobile beings.
